    Introduction

    We are so glad that you have enrolled in Stories in Korean: Folk Tales! We hope that over the next four weeks you not only enjoy learning new words and expressions that will help you communicate in Korean authentic ways, but also that you are engaged by the folk tales and traditional stories that all Korean people know and love. Each module will provide you the necessary knowledge to understand the characters, plot, and moral of each story as presented in level-appropriate Korean. At the same time, there are directions for how to develop reading, listening, and speaking fluency through the text and its narration.
